Cattle-Watts Cup

Registrations for the trials are now closed

This year the Cattle-Watts Cup game is being hosted by the 2025 winners, Dannevirke Sports Club.

We have been invited to travel down to try and win this trophy back on 12th September 2026. This game will be competed for by our 11th-12th grade footballers.

Dannevirke Sports club have also invited us to bring down a 9th-10th grade team for a game as well.

This year we are holding trials for these two teams on 9th August at 1pm at Russell Park. Selection for the Cattle-Watts Cup team (11th-12th grade) will be made by our guest selector, Alonso Fernandez. Selected players will be announced on 15th August 2026.

Eligibility

To be eligible to play in either team;

Players must be currently registered with either CHB Junior Football, or our Intercity teams playing through Hastings Hibernian.
Players must be able to attend the trial day on 9th August at 1pm
Players must be able to attend most training days on Tuesdays or Thursdays leading up to the event
Parents/Caregivers must be able to provide their own transport to and from Dannevirke on the day (12th September 2026)
